A Coastal Exterior with Character

The exterior of Penniwells combines a carefully selected palette of materials to create depth, texture and a contemporary coastal finish.

James Hardie external cladding is paired with Austral brickwork and PermaTimber castellated cladding, introducing a mix of tones and textures across the façade. The combination creates a modern exterior while complementing the home's coastal San Remo surroundings.

Each material was selected not only for its visual impact, but to contribute to a cohesive architectural design that will continue to stand the test of time.

Designed Around the View

Inside, the home's open-plan living spaces have been positioned to take advantage of the surrounding ocean views.

Large windows draw natural light into the home while creating a strong connection between the interior and the landscape beyond. A fireplace anchors the main living area, creating a space that feels equally suited to relaxed summer afternoons and cooler Bass Coast winters.

The result is an open and inviting living environment where the coastal outlook becomes an integral part of the home's design. Being only a stones-throw away from beautiful coastal towns such as Cape Woolamai, Smiths Beach, & Silverleaves, Penniwells was built to embrace the seaside surrounds that make it so special.

A sophisticated material palette continues throughout the interior.

The kitchen is a standout feature, combining marble surfaces, gold tapware, black appliances and an integrated wine fridge to create a luxurious yet highly functional entertaining space.

In the bathrooms and ensuite, grey tiling is complemented by gold tapware and contemporary fixtures. The main ensuite connects seamlessly with a generous walk-in robe, creating a private and considered retreat within the home.
